There are more than 400 million people with color blindness worldwide. Color blindness is not a disease, but simply a different way of perceiving colors.

In 2018, thanks to a chance and fortunate encounter with Marco Tonucci, who is colorblind (a deuteranope), I founded the Colorblindness Creativity Project, a social initiative where creativity explores and draws inspiration from the world of color vision deficiencies with the goal of breaking down discrimination and promoting inclusion. Being aware of color blindness contributes to the development of our personality; it allows us to be more inclusive and to make a socially significant impact. In fact, people with color blindness are often discriminated against in daily life, without recognition or support. Ensuring that visual content remains readable and distinguishable for color-blind users improves its usability for non-color-blind users as well.
Colorblindness Creativity Project is a versatile project
able to adapt to the various contexts in which it operates.

1
Training for design schools, universities, designers, and companies
Given that there are 400 million color-blind people worldwide, every designer, brand, or retailer must take into account a significant percentage of customers with special needs. Ignoring this segment of the market would be a serious mistake.
2
Teaching Tools
Most children and teens discover they are colorblind during their school years. The CCP provides teachers, students, and parents with educational and training resources to create a truly accessible and inclusive school environment.

3
Art Exhibitions
Through more than 30 multi-material artworks, it is possible to create an artistic and educational exhibition that offers a window into the world as seen through the eyes of color-blind people, using a captivating language that is accessible to everyone.
