FREECOLORS
Colorblindness - endless creativity

The Freecolors project was born by chance from a message I received on instagram from Marco Tonucci, whom I did not know yet. I was commenting on a photo with  mountains at sunset and he intervened in turn, with this question:
“Marco @fabriziotiribilli: as a powerfully colorblind, I'd like to talk about this: I don't see only black and white but we just miss it, tell me who sees well. I don't know what I miss in the sunsets and in the mountains, I'm happy, but would I still be happy if I saw you like you for five minutes and then returned to my state? "
I immediately felt the need to read up on Discromatopsias, commonly known as color blindness.

It is a phenomenon that everyone knows exists, but very few really know and on which many preconceptions weigh heavily. But the fact that there is a majority of people with trichromatic vision and a minority who have a different way of perceiving light does not mean that this minority is wrong.
There are three main dyschromatopsies: Protan-, Tritan- and Deuteran-. Freecolors tells what I learned from the world of dyschromatopsies and wants to stimulate each of us to change our point of view on these.
Possibly also help to break down the stigma that weighs on color blindness. Freecolors offers everyone an open window on possible worlds seen through the eyes of those with dyschromatopsia.

Freecolors is aimed at the simply curious, designers, parents or teachers who deal with color blind kids. This is why it consists of a printed part, easy to consult, full of atmospheres and suggestions, and real inspirational paintings. In these paintings I have created three scenarios that offer visions for three entire lifestyles.
This long creative adventure taught me that the world around color blind people needs to be redesigned.
It is necessary to have respect . To be open to dyschromatopsies means enriching ourself with endless creativity
